About Bitwork

Every day, hospitals add new types of equipment and new services to their IT environments -- cutting edge as well as legacy systems, basic or complex, administrative or clinical in nature, widely-used or specialized. These disparate systems increase the heterogeneity of those environments and can complicate the management of them, let alone understanding the interactions within those environments.

Bitwork began as a consulting company in 2002, providing custom application development.  Over time, the focus evolved into products to assist hospitals with maximizing the return on investment from their existing IT infrastructures.

The Bitwork development team has decades of experience building robust systems -- our systems are specifically geared for the hospital IT environment.  We concentrate on this area because of the special needs of this dynamic arena.  As a result, we are experts at bringing order to Healthcare IT.
